Michael Abbott

Michael Abbott is our medical massage therapist, and neuromuscular specialist. Michael has completed advanced training with some of the world`s premier leaders in his profession including Dr. Eric Dalton and therefore brings extensive experience and expertise to his therapy sessions. Many of the techniques Michael employs in a therapy visit are not seen in typical massages but are extremely effective and well researched. Dr Dalton, being an osteopathic physician, understands and employs manipulative therapy, and this body of work is a natural and powerful addition to our chiropractic regimen.Michael`s sessions are usually 30 minutes to 1 hour, and available by appointment. Michael in undertaking these advanced studies has developed very thorough knowledge of kinesiology, which is the study of muculoskeletal dynamics with movement. He is an exceptional communicator, having taught at the massage school from which he graduated in Kentucky. Each session with a patient becomes an opportunity for him to explain what he is doing on that session and why, along with specific stretches and exercises to enhance the treatment. Dr. Halverson and Michael work together and are on the same page with every patient treated therefore gaining the best results.
